Do you want to start your day with some healthy and raw vegan breakfast recipes? Raw foods have the maximum nutrition and are also easier to digest. Furthermore, all the below-mentioned recipes are absolutely vegan. They are delicious too!

Crunchy Raw Muesli

Cereal out of the box has never been a healthy choice, but a homemade cereal substitute made with nuts or soaked grains is not only good for you but also a great raw vegan way to start the day. Try a sweet and crunchy raw muesli recipe made with nuts and dates and topped with fresh fruit and nut milk or raw cashew cream. You can add a bit of coconut oil, which will take this delicious cereal to a whole other level.

Raw Oatmeal

Whole steel cut oats can be soaked overnight to soften them up for a raw food breakfast. There’s no cooking needed. Add nuts, fruits, dates, and cinnamon to make a bowl of raw oatmeal that can be gently warmed on the heating pad of a coffee pot or even in your dehydrator. Try a raw apple cinnamon oatmeal combining oats and dates topped with cinnamon and nutmeg-spiced apples. 

Raw Granola and Yogurt

Make up a raw foods granola using goji berries and buckwheat. And, although not exactly a cereal, you could also try a raw trail mix for breakfast. Pair either of these with a homemade raw nut yogurt and this raw granola and yogurt is a satisfying start to your day.  

Raw Green Smoothie

How can we talk about healthy raw vegan food breakfasts without mentioning fruit smoothies and green smoothies in particular? Both are so energizing, revitalizing, and nourishing that you won’t even think about missing your morning coffee. Try a raw green smoothie with orange juice or a green smoothie with pineapple, or for a treat, a raw banana carob smoothie or even a creamy raw chocolate shake. 

Raw Morning Drinks

When it comes to raw morning drinks, coffee is definitely out, but how about an herbal tea or a nice cup of spiced Indian chai made with whole spices and ground nut milk? Cashew milk or almond milk are always nice to have on hand to sip or add to cereals or smoothies.

Marinated Skewers

These are a great way to start the day. Marinated skewers are vibrant and delicious, making them perfect for any kind of breakfast. These are so simple to make, that all you need are skewers and chunks of fresh fruits like bananas, strawberries, pineapples, apples, grapes, kiwis, or whatever other fruit you like. For the marinade, mix grated ginger and lemon juice, then add maple syrup. Cover and coat the skewered fruit with the marinade at night to enjoy a fine breakfast in the morning. Leaving them in the fridge overnight allows the fruit to absorb the intense taste of the marinade.

Banana And Walnut Bread

To make this banana and walnut bread, you will need a cup of walnuts, 3 chopped bananas and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Add it all in a food processor and take it out once it has comes together like dough. Put the mixture in a bowl and add some raisins to it. Once that’s done, prepare little one inch thick bread slices with the dough, and leave them in a food dehydrator through the night. The classic banana bread recipes are very different from this little wonder. And apart from its health aspect, it is also filling and fit to energize. It is a great way to fuel up in the mornings and can be eaten on the go as well.
